My name is Pamela. I’m a writer based in Los Angeles.
You can find my words in The Eastsider LA, Los Angeles Review of Books (BLARB), and SupaDaily Latina. I work as a Weekend Social Media Producer for HelloGiggles, and as Content Coordinator for Quantasy.
When I’m not writing, reading, or tweeting during an existential crisis, I’m keeping up with the news, as well as the Kardashians.
I studied Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I earned my B.A. in 2015. There, I worked for City on a Hill Press, the student-run weekly newspaper. As part of the CHP staff, I worked as a news reporter and news editor.
After graduating from UCSC that same year, I moved to Dublin, Ireland to study Literature at Trinity College and to obsess over Dublin’s many Oscar Wilde homages. I worked as a contributing writer with The University Times – Ireland’s largest student newspaper and current Student Publication of the Year (2016).
I talk a whole lot, but I’d rather be writing about pop culture, education, race, and gender. Anything that ignites engaging conversation and represents the misrepresented and voiceless. On this site, you can find my blog posts, and portfolio. You can read all of my published work here. Follow me on social media!
